After consultation with eBay and other PowerSellers, we have decided to remove the petition.

Thank you to those who did sign. Unfortunately, for those who have no control over how a person bids, automatic sniping is a 'part of the eBay experience'.

We encourage those who are still negatively affected by automatic sniping to end auctions early if the auctions have not received bids. This is the only way we, as Sellers, can protect ourselves from final value deflation and the potential security risks that automatic sniping cause.
